Accessibility statement
Our commitment to a website that works for every visitor, including those using assistive technology, and how to tell us when it falls short.

Commitment and standard
Our commitment
Insurance is something people often need at the worst moment of their week. A site that only works for some visitors is not acceptable to us at any moment, and we treat accessibility as an ongoing responsibility rather than a one-time project.
Standard we target
We design and build this website to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2, Level AA. That standard covers text alternatives for images, sufficient colour contrast, keyboard operability, predictable navigation and compatibility with screen readers.
What this looks like on this site
- Every page is fully operable by keyboard, including the navigation menus and the theme switcher.
- Colour is never the only way information is conveyed — status and required fields are also labelled in text.
- Interactive components use native HTML elements, such as
<details>for the FAQ accordions, so assistive technology gets correct behaviour for free. - Decorative icons are hidden from screen readers; meaningful ones carry a text label.
- Motion — the logo marquee, animated hero art — is paused automatically when your system requests reduced motion.
- Every visible focus state uses a two-colour outline designed to remain visible across every brand palette this demo can display.
Known limitations
We would rather tell you what is not yet right than claim a conformance we have not verified end to end.
- Some PDF documents linked from policy and claims pages predate our current accessibility process and may not yet be fully tagged.
- Automated accessibility testing has not yet been extended to every page template in this demonstration environment.
- Third-party content we link to, such as a state department of insurance site, is outside our control and may not meet the same standard.
