Trident does not sell personal information. This page explains what that means, your right to opt out of targeted advertising, and how to submit a request.

What “sell” and “share” mean
“Sell”
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (CCPA/CPRA), “sell” means disclosing personal information to another business or a third party for money or other valuable consideration.
“Share”
“Share” means disclosing personal information to a third party for cross-context behavioural advertising, whether or not money changes hands.
Where Trident stands
Trident Insurance Company does not sell personal information, as that term is defined above, and has not done so in the preceding twelve months. We do use a small number of advertising and analytics providers whose activity could be considered “sharing” under this definition, which is why this opt-out exists.

You may direct us to stop sharing your personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising using the form below, or by calling 1-800-874-3368. This choice does not affect your policy, your rate, or your ability to file or track a claim.
Authorised agent requests
You may designate an authorised agent to submit a request on your behalf. We will ask the agent to provide proof of your written authorisation, and we may separately confirm the request with you directly.
How we verify a request
To protect against a fraudulent opt-out, we may ask you to confirm information already associated with your policy, such as your name and ZIP code, before completing the request. Verification is proportionate to the request — we do not require more information than we need.
Global Privacy Control
If your browser or extension sends a Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal, we treat that signal as a valid request to opt out of sharing for the browser that sent it, without any further action from you.
