One policy instead of five.

CPP combines property, stock, crime, general liability, commercial auto, earthquake and a genuinely substantial farm section into a single filed policy — 158 coverages, one bill, one renewal date, one adjuster when something goes wrong.

What’s in it

Eight sections. One declarations page.

Every business we write picks the sections it needs. Nobody pays for earthquake coverage they cannot use, and nobody has to buy a second policy for the parts CPP already includes.

Section I.A · 7 coverages

Real & business personal property

The building and the contents that run the business — fixtures, equipment, furniture and inventory outside of stock.

Section I.B · 3 coverages

Stock

Merchandise held for sale, valued and adjusted separately from the fixtures and equipment around it.

Section I.C · 14 coverages

Property coverage extensions

The gaps a base property form leaves — ordinance or law, debris removal, newly acquired locations and more, all in the base policy.

Section I.D · 17 coverages

Optional coverages & endorsements

The largest single section — the endorsements that let a policy fit a specific business instead of a generic one.

Section I.E · 2 coverages

Earthquake

Available where the exposure warrants it, rated and deductibled separately from the wind and hail on the base form.

Section II · 6 coverages

Crime

Employee dishonesty, robbery, burglary and money & securities — the exposures a property form does not touch.

Line of business

General liability

Bodily injury and property damage liability arising out of the business’s operations and premises.

Line of business

Commercial auto

Vehicles titled to the business, on the same policy as everything else it owns.

Section I.F · 30 coverages

Large commercial farm

The largest section on the form, and its own band below — this is not a farm endorsement bolted onto a retail policy.

Section I.F

Thirty coverages built for a working farm, not a warehouse.

Most business package policies treat a farm as an exception. CPP treats it as a section — barns, equipment, livestock, production and the buildings in between, all filed as part of the same programme as the retail shop down the road.

Farm structures

Barns, grain bins, machine sheds and outbuildings, each scheduled on its own.

Farm equipment

Tractors, implements and irrigation equipment, on or off the insured premises.

Livestock

Coverage that follows the animals, not just the buildings that hold them.

Production & income

Loss of farm income when a covered loss interrupts the operation.

How it’s priced

The mechanics behind the premium.

Property deductibles

Set per location and per coverage, so one bad roof does not raise the deductible on everything else you own.

Wind & hail deductibles

Priced separately from the base property deductible, reflecting the real weather exposure in Oklahoma.

Aggregate deductibles

A cap on total deductible exposure across multiple losses in a single term, not just a per-occurrence number.

GL aggregate limits

A total ceiling on general liability payouts for the policy term, alongside the per-occurrence limit.

Experience & schedule rating

Modifiers that adjust the filed base rate up or down for the business’s own loss history and risk profile.

Hazard grades

Construction, protection and occupancy determine the hazard grade that anchors the rate before any modifier is applied.

Spotlight

What it looks like when one policy has to cover everything.

Restaurant group · Tulsa, OK

A walk-in freezer failed on a Friday. They opened Saturday.

CPP spoilage and business income paid within nine days — and loss control had already flagged the compressor at the last survey.

Row crop & cattle · Grady County, OK

Hail took two centre pivots and a machine shed.

One adjuster, one claim number, one settlement across property, equipment and farm liability — because it was all one policy.

Retail · Stillwater, OK

A break-in cost more in stock than in damage.

Crime and stock coverage settled together, on the same declarations page, without a second carrier or a second deductible.

How it comes together

From submission to one bound policy.

Every step runs through the same underwriter, on the same filed programme, whether the business needs three sections or all eight.

  1. Submission

Your agent submits the business details and the sections you want covered.

  2. Hazard grading

Construction, protection and occupancy set the hazard grade for each location.

  3. Experience & schedule rating

Loss history and risk-specific factors adjust the base rate up or down.

  4. One policy, one bill

Every selected section is issued together, with a single renewal date and a single point of contact.

Questions

CPP, answered

CPP is written exclusively through appointed independent agents.

Do I have to buy all eight sections?
No. Your agent selects the sections that fit the business. Earthquake and large commercial farm, in particular, are selected, not automatic.
Is CPP available outside Oklahoma?
Not currently. CPP is filed in Oklahoma only. See where else we write.
What’s the difference between a property deductible and a wind/hail deductible?
The base property deductible applies to most covered causes of loss. Wind and hail carry their own separate deductible, priced for that specific exposure.
How does schedule rating differ from experience rating?
Experience rating looks at the business’s actual loss history. Schedule rating adjusts for risk characteristics — housekeeping, management, safety practices — that experience alone does not capture yet.
When does the current filing take effect?
CPP is effective 01/01/2026, rated under the General Rules edition dated 07/01/2025. A filed version applies to the term it was in effect for — not the term you happen to be reading this page in.
